Here are a few quick security tips for your Facebook Account

Facebook is considered part of your personal and business identity. Here are a few quick security tips.

Do not overuse the same password

Use different passwords for your various online accounts. Do not use the same password for your email address and your Facebook account. A scammer who gains access to your Facebook account will immediately have access to your registered email address. Update your password once a year.

Do not share your login information

Scammers will create fake websites and links that look like Facebook. These websites will ask you to login with your email and password. Make sure that you check the website's URL before you enter your login information. You should see www.facebook.com as part of the URL on your browser.

Log Out

If you are using a public or shared computer remember to log out.

Use Two-Factor Authentication

Facebook allows you to use two-step authentication to ensure an additional layer of security. When you set up two-factor authentication you will need the password and access to your phone to log in to your account.
